We are excited to announce our new dual-extracted mushroom tinctures, now available at all our markets. Mushrooms are grown or foraged by Forgedale Fungi, dried, and then sent to our friends at MMM Labs in Central PA for dual extraction and bottling.

MMM Labs’ dual extraction method (using both water and alcohol) results in the highest number and concentration of bioavailable compounds that mushrooms have to offer. Water soluble compounds include antioxidants, polysaccharides, essential amino acids, and fungal melanin. Alcohol soluble compounds include triterpenoids, lignins, and sterols. While most dual extraction producers simply mix water extracted solution with alcohol extracted solution, MMM Labs goes a step further. The water and alcohol solutions are evaporated to remove all solvents, resulting in a pure dried mushroom concentrate, then water and alcohol are added back in to create a uniform and shelf stable solution. This method allows us to precisely measure the mushroom concentrate in each bottle and thus provide consistent products.

We currently offer Lion’s Mane Tincture and Reishi Tincture, both available in 1x or 2x concentrations. All bottles have a touch of local PA maple syrup for flavoring. Ask about our tinctures the next time you see us at market! We welcome suggestions or feedback for future batches.
